DePIN Hub makes noise at Korea Blockchain Week 2025 and TOKEN2049 Singapore!

DePIN doesn’t just live online! It thrives wherever builders, investors, and communities collide IRL.
At Korea Blockchain Week and TOKEN2049, the ecosystem showed just how fast it’s growing, with new partnerships, Verified milestones, and hard questions that need answering.
For us at DePIN Hub, we didn’t treat this time like a 2-hr sitting simulator; they were real moments to connect, collaborate, and set the pace for what’s next. 🚀
We caught up with old friends like NATIX, GEODNET, Wingbits, and Aethir… while also discovering fresh faces like Gonka.ai, OORT, Ocean Protocol, Oasis Network, and Piggycell. That mix of familiar and new made the week electric — proof that DePIN is expanding faster than anyone predicted!
And if KBW was a glimpse of where things are heading, TOKEN2049 is where the volume really goes up. 🚀
Solana DePIN Korea

Set against the buzz of Korean Blockchain Week, Solana DePIN Korea set out to connect builders and investors working at the intersection of Solana and DePIN. More than a mixer, it blended panels with open networking… and quickly became one of the most talked-about side events of the week!
The lineup didn’t disappoint. IoTeX, Nubila, Dawn, Roam, Wingbits, 1k(x), Inception, Beatswap, ARO Network, and Go all took the stage. Wingbits stole headlines with the announcement of their partnership with Korean Air, while we at DePIN Hub shared our own milestone: XYO is now Verified, just as it prepares to launch its blockchain and staking.
Our co-founder and CTO, Daniel Andrade, also moderated a panel that dug into what it really takes to scale and invest in the DePIN era.
One of the sharpest moments came when Daniel asked the panel how they planned to onboard more Web2 users. The answers revealed just how differently DePIN founders think. Wingbits broke down how early incentives accelerated their growth 7x — a well-worn story in crypto — but explained that what sealed their B2B traction with aviation giants wasn’t price, it was the superior quality of DePIN data.
Dawn added nuance: sometimes the question isn’t just how to onboard Web2 supply, but whether you even need them in the first place, given that demand-side Web2 adoption is the ultimate goal. Together, these insights painted a picture of founders who see their projects as whole systems, not just token economies.
The event may have carried the Solana brand, but what stood out most was the sheer intellectual weight of DePIN builders — pragmatic, curious, and unafraid to tackle questions bigger than their own roadmap.
deAI Day

Hosted by Aethir and co-hosted by Open Ledger, deAI Day set out to explore how AI is threading its way through the Web3 stack — and what that means for DePIN. The top floor buzzed with panels, while the bottom floor became a networking hub where conversations stretched longer than the rain outside.
For us, the highlight wasn’t just the agenda but the connections. We caught up with old friends Wingbits and GEODNET (snacks included 🥟), and met one of our new buddies, Gonka.ai. It was one of those mornings where the right mix of projects made even the storm outside feel like background noise.
On stage, GEODNET delivered one of the most grounded insights of the day: enterprise clients don’t tolerate downtime. In a decentralized system where outages can happen, that’s a massive challenge. Their answer? Build redundancy across base stations so the network self-heals, and reward the most reliable operators with higher incentives. In other words, align token economics with enterprise-grade service — an ongoing experiment, but one already showing results.
If there was one clear takeaway, it’s this: AI may have been the theme, but reliability stole the spotlight. DePIN isn’t just about scaling fast, it’s about proving you can meet real-world SLAs, rain or shine!
DePIN and DeFAI Rooftop

There’s something about a rooftop in Seoul: city lights, open air, and just enough buzz to make networking feel effortless.
Oasis Network and Ocean Protocol co-hosted this gathering, pairing skyline views with panels that dove into the future of data, privacy, and AI in Web3!
For us, it was a chance to shift gears: instead of catching up with old collaborators, we were learning from new ones. We listened closely to both Oasis and Ocean, and came away impressed by the depth of their vision. Brief conversations with their teams made it clear — these are projects worth watching as DePIN and AI continue to converge.
If KBW had a theme, this event captured it perfectly: fresh perspectives, open conversations, and a reminder that the DePIN story is still being written.
K-INFRA: Building DePIN in Korea

If there was one event that felt like the beating heart of KBW for DePIN, it was K-INFRA.
Co-hosted by SEA DePIN, Piggycell, and OORT — with DePIN Hub as the official media partner — the evening stacked panels, live demos, and matchmaking into one high-energy showcase of what the space is really building!
The panels read like a who’s-who of DePIN innovation. From Aethir, Piggycell, NodeOps, U2U Network, and Beatswap tackling Korea’s GTM strategies, to our own panel on token incentives alongside NATIX, OORT, HYRA, and 1k(x), and finally Wingbits, GEODNET, IoTeX, Nubila, and SEA DePIN proving enterprise-ready deployments — the breadth of perspectives was unmatched.
For us, the standouts were the Verified Projects.
NATIX delivered a sharp reality check on token launches: First, ask if you even need a token. Second, get the timing right. Launch after product market fit, not before. Tokens work best when they reward contributors as part of the project’s growth — not just as merch, not as a footnote at IPO.
GEODNET, meanwhile, reinforced why enterprise trust in decentralized networks is no longer a theory, but practice!
The networking was just as rich. Piggycell, heading toward TGE with over 2M active users, was impossible to miss — their power banks were literally on every street corner in Gangnam.
OORT capped the evening with a keynote on AI safety, urging industry leaders to take responsibility for how this technology scales.
K-INFRA proved one thing above all: Korea is quickly becoming a proving ground for DePIN adoption — where strategy meets real-world traction.
